Im using spike trap + impale but its very slow, clunky, and has a small AOE radius. With DH, i dont know im supposed to be using at this level to kill stuff. Clearing mobs just wasnt a problem, especially as ray of frost from level 2 was AOE. With a wizard, the only times where i was starved for resource was on boss fights and getting hydra caused my DPS to skyrocket. So after one or two packs of mobs, im out of hatred and my hatred generators hit like a wet noodle (and generate hatred extremely slowly). Playing on hard, trash mobs generally take at least 2x impales to kill. I have 150 hatred and my secondary skills are using up so much hatred that i burn through all my hatred trying to kill some trash mobs.Īs an example, impale costs 20 hatred and does 750% weapon damage. I have a level 23 demon hunter now and im really underwhelmed by how it plays and how little damage it does. Ray of frost gets a damage increase the longer you channel and hydra does ridiculous AOE damage with the arcane rune. I solo leveled a wizard in season 25 and it was fine, i mainly used hydra + ray of frost before getting my set, and i had no problems killing any bosses.

I cant do WASD directional movement on FPSs to save my life. You sorta need both to win.Im pretty bad with a keyboard as well. Quick reflexes give a substantial edge in RTS games, as it comes down to who is more clever and can micromanage better. Get in the habit of hovering your left hand over CTRL and number keys. maybe the dummifying of the controls to a pad will help. You can always retreat out of someone else's base if you're getting beat, but it's kind of hard to do when you're in your base - View image here: -Rob posted by sword_9mm:^^ ahh, yes, hotkeys. So long as they've got mobility, the last two hotkeys of units should help you protect your logistic supply chain while also allowing you to disrupt your opponent's.After playing Dawn of War, I've become a much more aggressive player. You can keep these mobile units with the main army (in Company of Heroes, hit 1, hold down shift and hit the other hotkeys, then send move/attack orders) or you can use them as harassment/protection elsewhere. If you are playing wide open maps, try and hotkey a fairly large main force (two to three hotkeys for that force, broken down by range/damage type) and then create another hotkey or two of mobile units. I find this makes splitting your forces much more managable.Chris, a lot of it depends on the type of maps in the game. Most games will center on your unit when you do this. Sword_9mm - when you create a hotkey and call it up, hit the number twice. |
